A dramatic representation of the myth of "Tantalus", danced and choreographed by David Pressault.
Tantalus was tortured by the Greek Gods for the revenge he sought in the death of his son. He gave a dinner for the Gods and served the shoulder of his son. Demeter realized this and imprisoned Tantalus in water up to his neck and tantalized him with food.

Tantalus tötete seinen Sohn aus Rache und bereitete aus seiner Schulter eine Speise für die Götter vor. Demeter durchschaute dies und bestrafte Tantalus: Bis zum Hals im Wasser stehend, muß er ewig dürsten und hungern.
