Ballett des Landestheaters Detmold/Ballet of the Detmold State Theater

The Detmold Ballet, under the artistic direction of Elsa Genova, is the single dance company in NRW belonging to a state theater. During the past two seasons its ballet director has given young choreographers ample opportunity to create productions for the ensemble. Thus, the company distinguishes itself by a great stylistic diversity.

"Rockballet", to be presented at the Dance Fair NRW, is a work by Henning Paar, himself in the meantime ballet director at the company in Nordhausen.
