Tanztheater Christine Brunel, Essen

Following her tenure at the Folkwang Dance Studio under the artistic leadership of Susanne Linke, beginning in 1978, Christine Brunel carved out her own artistic path as a freelance dancer and choreographer, beginning in 1984. Since then she has remained true to her artistic home, Essen.

In 1988 Brunel began to work in her own studio, a former factory. In this studio, works taking the special stage space into consideration are performed. The artist herself calls many of her works "Chamber Dance Evenings".

In the framework of the Dance Fair NRW, Brunel will present two of her solos in her own theatre.
