Annamirl van der Pluijm, Aachen

Annamirl van der Pluijm studied dance at the Rotterdam Dance Academy before 1984, when she worked as a dancer and assistant to Jan Fabre, from Belgium. In 1985 she completed a course of study in Flamenco dance, in Madrid. From 1988 until 1991 she was a member of Reinhild Hoffmann's Bochum Dance Theater, where she danced and created many important rôles. Since 1991 she has worked as an independent dancer and choreographer. In her solos she is principally discusses the search for the own personality, as already demonstrated in her first production, "Solo 1".Annamirl van der Pluijm - resident in the tri-regional Meuse-Rhine area, will present her two solos, "Solo M." and "Solo P."
