Britta Lieberknecht & Technicians, Köln

Britta Lieberknecht, who was educated in dance at the Merce Cunningham School, in New York, was a member of the Belgian company, Plan K, which was distinguished by her multimedia productions.Together with actor Reinhard Gerum, in Bremen, Britta Lieberknecht founded the company Britta Lieberknecht & Technicians, in 1989, which is notable primarily for its interdisciplinary productions. Her pieces are never solely in one direction, never dictated by a single style. Dance is always confronted with another artistic medium. In 1992 the company moved to Cologne.

The Dance Fair NRW presents the production "Fluss-TV" (River TV), which will be performed outside of the Zollverein Colliery, near the tracks in front of the Art Shaft.
