Performer, dancer and choreographer Gregor Weber began his artistic
career in 1977, with the company of Cologne pantomime artist Mehmet
Fistik. Following engagements as an actor at the Theater in the
Cellar, Cologne, among other venues, and as a dancer with the
"mind the gap" company and in choreographies by Katherine
Shenert, he continued his studies in Tokyo, at Dance Butter. He
danced in numerous productions by Anzu Furukawa before creating
his own works, such as "Kafka no Butoh" (Kafka's Butoh),
which premiered at the Tokyo Terpsichore Festival in 1993.For
the Dance Fair NRW he will present a new performance created especially
for the Art Shaft at the Zollverein Colliery.
